Instructions

  • 2️⃣ Peel (optional) or leave the skin on for extra nutrients.
  • 3️⃣ Dice potatoes into 1-inch cubes for even cooking.

Step 2: Mix the Seasoning Blend

  • 1️⃣ In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, cumin, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • 2️⃣ Toss the diced potatoes with olive oil and the spice mix until evenly coated.

Step 3: Cook the Potatoes (Two Methods)

  • Pan-Fried Method (For Crispiest Potatoes)
  • 1️⃣ Heat a large skillet over medium heat with olive oil.
  • 2️⃣ Spread the potatoes in a single layer and cook 5-7 minutes per side, flipping occasionally until golden brown and crispy.
  • 3️⃣ Sprinkle with sliced jalapeños (if using) and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Oven-Roasted Method (Less Oil, Hands-Free Cooking)
  • 1️⃣ Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • 2️⃣ Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread potatoes evenly.
  • 3️⃣ Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
